Sasawashi Face Scrub Towel
Created by blending Washi paper with kumazasa fibres, the resulting fabric becomes soft and durable, absorbing twice as much water as a plain cotton.Â
The antibacterial properties of the fibre make it ideal for facial cleansing and prevents unpleasant odours from forming.
This scrub towel can be used with or without soap, lifting off dead skin and excess sebum. It can help reduce flakiness and leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed.Â

SASAWASHI fabric is made by blending Kumazasa fibres; grown in the cool highlands of Japan, with Washi paper. Washi is strong, durable and water-resistant used in traditional Shoji slidding doors keeping homes cool in summer and warm in winter. A sheet of these blended fibres is then slit into long strings of yarn, twisted together to machine weave or knit SASAWASHI yarn and fabric.
