Porcelain neti pot
This stoneware neti pot is lead free.
Nasal irrigation is a practice where the nasal cavity is flushed to remove debris from the sinuses (practised in India for centuries as part of yoga).

directions:
- Prepare solution by dissolving 1/4 tsp fine non-iodized salt into 1 cup of warm water, then pour into neti pot.
- Lean over so facing directly into basin, then rotate head so one nostril directly over other. Gently insert spout into upper nostril so it forms comfortable seal.
- Keep mouth open & raise neti pot. Adjust your head to get most comfortable angle. If correct angle, you will be able to breathe through your mouth.
- When neti pot empty, face basin & gently exhale through both nostrils to clear.
- Repeat on other side.
- Afterwards you may need a few simple exercises to dispel any solution left in your nose. Exhaling gently into a tissue without pinching nostrils may help. Bending forward so that your head is pointing towards the floor for a few seconds then following with a few exhalations. Or placing your feet 2-3 feet apart, then alternative toe touching while turning head upwards towards a raised hand, then returning to standing and doing exhalations can help.
- Simply wash out pot using soap & water, or place in the dishwasher.
