Sasawashi Body Scrub Towel
Created by blending Washi paper with kumazasa fibres, this body scrub towel is a joyful and functional addition to your bath routine. Kumazasa is naturally antibacterial and when combined with Washi paper, the resulting fabric becomes soft and durable, absorbing twice as much water as a plain cotton.Â
Can be used with or without soap, this body scrub towel will gently exfoliate and cleanse the body, with antibacterial properties of the fibres preventing unpleasent odours. Take off dead skin, excess oil and keratin, creating a cleansing and calming expereince that leaves the skin soft, smooth and refreshed.

SASAWASHI fabric is made by blending Kumazasa fibres; grown in the cool highlands of Japan, with Washi paper. Washi is strong, durable and water-resistant used in traditional Shoji slidding doors keeping homes cool in summer and warm in winter. A sheet of these blended fibres is then slit into long strings of yarn, twisted together to machine weave or knit SASAWASHI yarn and fabric.
