Cleaning the scissors is as easy as placing in the dishwasher (handwashing also a great option), drying and oiling with a food grade mineral oil. Maintaining the scissors by polishing with oil to remove any marks will ensure longevity.
Hand washing is ideal however they are dishwasher friendly. Just remember to remove and dry as soon as the wash cycle has finished. Never leave your scissors wet or dirty. They have a lifetime warrantee against defects but they do require maintenance particularly if they are going in the dishwasher.
